S3tel. Inc. is looking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to take full ownership of their core IT environment, from server stability to complex network management. If you enjoy solving technical puzzles and building structured, secure systems, this could be your next big career move in Dubai.
About the Role
This isn’t your standard desktop support position. S3tel. Inc. needs someone who can act as the backbone for their IT operations. You will be responsible for maintaining servers, managing endpoint security, and ensuring that the company’s digital infrastructure remains both stable and secure.
You’ll be working closely with internal teams and external vendors to keep everything running—from Wi-Fi and firewalls to MDM policies and server patches. The role requires someone who can document processes clearly, troubleshoot logically, and ensure that IT issues are followed through to completion rather than just passed around.
Core Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Keep Windows/Linux servers, storage, and endpoints in peak condition through regular patching, monitoring, and backups.
- Network Operations: Manage the full stack of network connectivity, including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPNs, VLANs, and firewall configurations.
- Endpoint Control: Use MDM tools to manage device security, compliance, and user access across all company hardware.
- Vendor Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for IT vendors. You’ll be raising tickets, tracking progress, and validating that fixes are actually effective.
- Security & Documentation: Implement and maintain robust security practices, including MFA and user access management. You’ll also be responsible for keeping configuration records updated so the company isn’t reliant on tribal knowledge.
What You Need to Bring
Success in this role requires a blend of deep technical skill and a structured, disciplined mindset.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in server administration, networking (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP), and endpoint management.
- Operational Mindset: You aren’t just here to troubleshoot; you’re here to plan. Experience with preventive maintenance, ITIL processes, or ticketing systems is a massive plus.
- Adaptability: Having experience in hospitality, property tech, or smart building systems (CCTV, IPTV, BMS) will set your application apart.
- Communication: You must be able to present reports to leadership and coordinate effectively with technical vendors.
- Education: A degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering is preferred.
