If you have extensive experience in high-rise building design and construction supervision, this role offers a path to work on iconic developments in Saudi Arabia.

The Role: Leading Structural Excellence

This is a senior-level position designed for engineers who want to take charge of complex technical coordination. You won’t just be reviewing drawings; you will be the technical lead, ensuring every structural element—from reinforced concrete to steel frameworks—meets global standards and the Saudi Building Code (SBC).

Your daily responsibilities will involve:

  • Leading coordination between architectural, MEP, and construction teams to resolve design conflicts before they reach the site.
  • Overseeing contractor submissions, including shop drawings and method statements.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and site teams to ensure project schedules are met without sacrificing quality.
  • Performing critical site inspections and witnessing testing procedures to maintain the highest safety benchmarks.

Key Eligibility & Requirements

AtkinsRéalis seeks high-level expertise for this project. Before you apply, make sure your background aligns with these core expectations:

  • Professional Experience: You need between 15 to 20 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years specifically in major high-rise and large-scale building projects.
  • Academic Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is mandatory. A Master’s degree is a distinct advantage.
  • Professional Standing: Preference is given to those holding Chartered Engineer (CEng), MIStructE, or MICE status. Membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is highly preferred.
  • Regional Expertise: Having previous experience in the GCC or specifically within Saudi Arabia will put your application at the front of the line.
  • Soft Skills: You should be a strong communicator, capable of managing multidisciplinary teams and representing the company in technical workshops and client meetings.
